Joe Valliere has met Ojibwe lacrosse stick makers over the years, but the skill he has honed is self-taught. The sticks he creates feature a complete circle at the tip, similar he says to his view of life: everything is about going full circle. Joe calls lacrosse his first crush and says the passion he has for creating lacrosse sticks is his way of paying respect to past generations.
